Sean Brown is a rapper, singer/songwriter and producer from Launceston Tasmania. In 2016 Sean released a song called “Fighter” as an anthem to those battling mental health issues. The songs video went on to be viewed over 100,000 times and gained media attention for it’s message. In 2017 he was an artist on The Voice Australia in a duo called Sean and Molly. He made it to The Knockout rounds of the show on Delta Goodrem’s team. After The Voice Sean and Molly decided to go solo. In late 2017, Sean released a single with runner up of the show Hoseah Partsch called “Mama”.
Ellie Couch is a singer from Launceston Tasmania. She has been singing from a very young age and started professional lessons as 12 where she also learnt how to play guitar. Since then she has been playing at many local events, bars and pubs and in more recent years has been performing at weddings.
Sean likes to write music with the intention of making change. He is very passionate about mental health and equality which is where the idea for Woman” came from. Ellie and Sean had wanted to collaborate for a while and are both passionate about equality so “Woman” seemed like the perfect project to work together in. As a male Sean believes more men to stand up for women’s rights and against domestic violence in order for change to happen.
