The comedic beast that is AUNTY DONNA are about to perform a national tour of their April-released debut album, The Album, during October and November!
The Album Tour, which follows the release of 16 original songs written and performed by Aunty Donna earlier this year, will see the boys heading out to rock venues across the country to recreate the experience live from October 3, visiting Ballarat, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne.
Not known to mince words, Aunty Donna had this to say about The Album Tour: “We can’t f**king wait to go on our first ever f**king music tour lol. With a f**king live band and Michelle Brasier on f**king backing vocals haha. We’ve f**king never done a f**king tour like this before lol. Limited f**king tickets lol haha.” In addition to The Album’s release, 2018 has also seen the creative collective of actor/writers Mark Samual Bonanno, Broden Kelly and Zachary Ruane, writer/director Sam Lingham, film director/editor Max Miller, and sound designer/composer Tom Armstrong packing in multiple comedy festival seasons around the country, as well as no less than 2 separate tours of North America - and all within the first six months of the year.
They toured their latest live show, GLENNRIDGE SECONDARY COLLEGE, to Canberra Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Perth Comedy Festival and Brisbane from March to May.
The show is looking AMAZING. Check out Josh's chat with Broden below!
