Australia’s Ivy Adara, singer song-writer and self-confessed lyric geek from the outer suburbs of Sydney, has spent the last few years developing her project in Australia with mentor & manager Jon Hume (Evermore frontman & hit song writer/ producer) at New Tribe Music. Today sees here release to radio her second self-penned song, “Currency”!
After penning hits for the likes of Jessica Mauboy (5 x ARIA nominations & 3 APRA nominations including Song Of The Year & Most Played Work on radio), Maggie Lindemann and Dami Im, Ivy packed her bags and moved to Hollywood. Her first stint in LA proved difficult, full of closed doors and disappointments while living in a cheap AirBnb with a caved-in ceiling.
Since then, a lot has changed in a short time for talented young Ivy Adara. Not only does she now live in an apartment that actually has a functional ceiling, but her music has found the support of US music industry heavy weights and she is well on her way to global recognition.
